How we got this product to market:

How can we improve the existing product on the market? To improve this product, we implemented four major changes:

We manufacture a clip that belongs on the Placard Holder and is the correct application.​​

We implemented a hinge to make this product user friendly.

We created a pocket within the front plate that allows you to store multiple DG signs in the Holder.

We asked ourselves, why are some of the existing clips rusting when they state that they are made from stainless steel? Material test reports concluded that the stainless on the existing Placard Holder clips is such a low grade, it is actually considered steel. We improved the material by making our Hinges and Clips from true 300 series stainless to ensure rust does not occur.​

How did we come up with the Engineering design and repeated improvements regarding this new product? The original concept of this part is much different than the final product manufactured today. Multiple clips and hinge​ styles were tested during the prototyping stage. Numerous and continuous improvements were made to the front plate and were executed to prove out it's effectiveness.

What was the continuous improvement completed based upon customer feedback during product development? We worked with only one customer with a high company rating to provide comments on each of our improvements.

How does this product allow for multiple storage of DG cards for quick change outs? The ability to store multiple DG signs within the holder provides convenience to the end user, as well as in some cases, eliminates the requirement of the very cost prohibitive Flip Placard Holder.

What are the extensive beta tests on this product? We did not develop this product to rush it to market. We completed multiple outdoor beta tests to ensure that our customers get the best possible product.
